BIO

Emily is thrilled to be back in Penticton after spending many years living abroad. Her passion for medicine, movement, and rehabilitation led her into the field of physiotherapy in 2006 while living in Germany, where she completed her first degree in physiotherapy.

After returning to Canada, Emily continued her education in Kinesiology and Health Sciences before earning her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2016. Since then, she has enjoyed helping individuals of all ages and activity levels recover from injury, manage pain, and return to the activities they love.

Emily embraces a diverse and evidence- based approach to treatment, incorporating manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, patient education, and modalities such as shockwave therapy. She enjoys taking on new challenges and believes that every patient deserves a personalized treatment plan tailored to their unique goals and circumstances.

More than anything, Emily is passionate about empowering her patients and advocating for them throughout their healing journey. She strives to ensure that each person feels heard, supported, and well informed about their condition and recovery. Questions are always welcome and she values building collaborative relationships with her patients,  and their other healthcare team members, to help them achieve lasting results.

Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys weightlifting, hiking, yoga, and just about any good adventure with family and friends. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you thrive in your body.
