BIO

Born and raised in Penticton, Phong graduated with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics specializing in clinical exercise physiology from the University of British Columbia – Okanagan (2021). While at university, he volunteered as a student athletic trainer for UBCO on-field and in the clinic learning injury prevention and rehabilitation. He wanted to translate these skills and experiences into helping people live to their fullest and supporting their rehabilitation journey.

He is passionate about helping and making a positive impact for others. Throughout his life, he has been fascinated with human movement and injury prevention from playing sports and attending athletic events. He will be undergoing additional training in soft-tissue release and further concussion management. Phong is thrilled to grow with Penticton Physiotherapy and IMS to develop new skills and provide the best care for others.

In his spare time, Phong enjoys strength training, golfing, disc golfing, and playing squash.
